EMMA GUTHRIE

Emma E. Guthrie, of Crawfordsville, died Thursday night at Indianapolis. She was born January 7, 1878, and was the eldest daughter of the late Silas W. Guthrie and wife, who passed away within five days of one another a little over a year ago. Emma was a member of the First baptist Church, joining over twenty years ago, and was a straight, upright, true Christian girl. She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters, Clara Guthrie and Mrs. Jesse Tomlinson, of this city; three brothers, Fred Guthrie of Linnsburg, Ind., William Guthrie of Pittsburgh, Pa. The remains will be brought here this evening and burial will be made at the Masonic cemetery. The funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of her brother from Pennsylvania.
